Laurence Bogue
Member of The Belafonte Folk Singers (baritone). Laurence comes from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and received his Master's Degree at Juilliard School of Music. As leading baritone with the Florentine Opera Company in Milwaukee, he sang in "Rhigoletto", "La Traviata" and "Pagliacci". He later became assistant conductor of the Milwaukee Pops Orchestra and Chorus. His performance as Ben in the mid-west premiere of Menotti's "The Telephone" led to fifty appearances in that role. His New York operatic debut was with the New York City Opera Company as Silvio in "Pagliacci". He has sung over 130 concerts with the "Revelers" quartet, including a command performance for the President of the United States at the White House.

Hiram Bullock
Guitar on CB85254. Has also recorded some own albums, one of them is Atlantic 81685-1 "From All Sides" Hiram Bullock was born in Osaka, Japan and came to America at the age of 2. As a child, he studied piano at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland, playing his first recital at age 6. After learning the saxophone, he began to play the bass guitar, and played his first professional gigs with a typical high school rock band. He switched to guitar when he was 16, admittedly to "meet more girls." He attended the University of Miami music school, where he studied with Pat Metheny and Jaco Pastorius. One of his steady nightclub jobs was with the singer Phyllis Hyman, and eventually this led him to New York. Almost immediately after arriving in New York, Hiram’s international career began. Born 1926 in Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A. Son of a Barbadian mother and an American father. Well known composer and arranger, known more under the pseudonym Lord Burgess. Has written the Lyrics of The National Anthem of Barbados . Has also written 35 songs for Harry Belafonte including most of the lyrics on the album LPM1248 which was the first album in the world that sold over 1.000.000 copies.
