Episode 160: Ultimatum

Good Morning Mr. Phelps. The brilliant nuclear physicist Dr. Jerome M. Cooper has informed the President of the United States that a fifty megaton hydrogen bomb is located in an unnamed American city and will be detonated at noon tomorrow unless the following demands are met. First, eight congressmen and three senators and three members of the cabinet, whose names are listed here, are to resign their seats, to be replaced by men of Cooper's choosing. Second, certain United States foreign policy must be immediately and irrevocably reversed. The authorities are convinced that Dr. Cooper is telling the truth. He and his accomplices have placed millions of lives in jeopardy. Your mission, should you accept, is to locate and disarm the bomb. This tape will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck Jim.
